Your favourite blog posts on Circa Lingua from 2015

merry-christmas

Last post of the year.

Time flies. It seems it was yesterday when I was drafting my business plan for 2015, and now that I got back to it to start planning for 2016, I have realised everything that I’ve achieved during the year.

It’s amazing how time goes by when you’re immersed in projects, assignments, collaborations, business meetings… All these hectic days don’t allow you to look back at your New Year’s resolutions to see everything that you’ve achieved.

I have to say thanks for all your support during this year. One of my resolutions was to spend more time improving the contents of this blog and, thanks to you, I can say that my page views have increased by 800% (crazy, right?!)

Thanks to you, this blog was one of the ten blogs nominated for the Proz awards. And thanks to you, I can close this 2015 with a little surprise that you’ll be able to see next year. (I just can say that you’ll be able to read one of my posts on paper!)

I can’t say thanks enough! THANKS, THANKS AND THANKS!

These are your seven favourite posts of 2015:

  1. How to convince your clients to hire you over your competition.
  2. Psychology of sales: 8 smart techniques to increase the sales of your business.
  3. How to stop bidding for work and start getting real clients.
  4. What you need to know about the new LinkedIn changes.
  5. 6 worst excuses not to invest in a Spanish translation.
  6. Market research: define your niche market.
  7. Web analytics and how important languages are in your website.

I have some posts scheduled for January, but don’t hesitate to suggest anything that you want me to cover related to business, marketing or copywriting. I’m all ears! You can always drop me an email at blog@circalingua.com

I hope you are having the best (and well-deserved) Christmas break. And I hope to see you all reading and enjoying my new posts during 2016 (and more years to come!)

I’ll see you all back on 5th of January!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

David Miralles Perez

My name is David Miralles and I am aware of how languages can influence professional environments. Honing communication between two cultures has become crucial in today’s globalized world. And that is what I do by means of my translation and interpreting services. Small and medium enterprises and individuals can now spread their messages through cultural and linguistic barriers and make a big impact on an international scale.
